Our Story

Clarity Across Generations
Is a Form of Care

Lineara was founded in Chiang Mai on a simple belief: families deserve a quiet, considered space to talk and to organise what they want to pass on.

Who We Are

The Thread That Connects

Lineara began with a kitchen-table conversation in 2019. A family in Chiang Mai's Nimman neighbourhood found themselves sitting with two boxes of documents, three generations of photographs, and no clear idea of what to do next. They knew what mattered. They just didn't have a way to hold it together.

That realisation became Lineara's founding purpose. Families often possess decades of meaningful records — land documents, personal letters, insurance papers, household accounts, wishes spoken but never written down — scattered across drawers, phones, and memory. The question is rarely whether families care. It is whether they have a way to bring that care into a form others can find and understand.

We are not a legal service and we do not offer financial or professional advice. What we offer is time, structure, and a calm pair of hands to help families gather, organise, and reflect on what they want to leave behind — and for whom.

Our studio sits on Nimmanhaemin Road, one of Chiang Mai's quietest and most thoughtful streets. We work with Thai families, expat families, and multigenerational households who speak any combination of languages. The process is always guided by the family's pace, not ours.

Our Mission

To give families in Thailand a structured, dignified way to organise their records and share their intentions across generations.

Our Values

Patience, discretion, and respect for each family's own timing. We bring structure without pressure and clarity without urgency.

Our Approach

Facilitative and organisational. We listen, we sort, we document — and we know exactly when to refer you to someone with a professional licence.

Our Standards

How We Work

Every engagement at Lineara is shaped by a set of professional commitments we hold without exception.

Strict Confidentiality

All family information shared with us remains entirely within your household. We do not share details with third parties for any reason.

Scope Clarity

We are clear about what falls inside and outside our scope. When specialist expertise is needed, we say so and help you identify who can provide it.

Documented Process

Every session produces a written summary that remains with the family. Nothing disappears into a cloud service without your direction.

Non-Directive Facilitation

Our facilitators do not steer families toward particular decisions. We help create space for conversation — where the outcomes go is always the family's choice.

Language Accessibility

We work comfortably in Thai and English, and can accommodate families whose conversations move between both. We do not require every member to share a single language.

Structured Accountability

For extended programmes, we set milestones together and track them honestly. If a family's circumstances change, we adjust without penalty or pressure.

Estate Record Organisation in Chiang Mai

Families across Northern Thailand are discovering the value of taking time — before circumstances make it necessary — to bring their records into a shared, legible order. The process is less about preparing for the worst and more about honouring the care that family members have for one another.

At Lineara, we draw on knowledge of document organisation, facilitated conversation methods, and family systems to help households build a lasting reference. Our engagements range from a single two-hour session to a structured three-month programme, and all are shaped around the family's own priorities.

Chiang Mai's multigenerational and internationally mixed households often face a particular version of this challenge — documents in different languages, records held in different countries, and intentions that have never quite been put into words. Lineara's structured approach addresses all of this without requiring specialist qualifications on the part of the family.
